Why I Chose Reflexology

30 years ago when I began my career as a Primary School Teacher I began to get pains in my side and was diagnosed as having Irritable Bowel Syndrome. The GP said it was stress related. I decided to visit a reflexologist in Albrighton, after having half a dozen treatments or so I began to notice a difference. I was no longer in pain but also, I started to feel generally more relaxed.
I continued to have a treatment every month for a couple of years.

When I was due to give birth to my first child in 2003, I went back for a treatment as I had gone over my due date. Within hours of my reflexology session, my contractions began. I had total faith in the qualities of reflexology. As I considered early retirement from teaching five years ago, I thought, ‘what would I like to do next before I get too old’. I instantly knew I wanted to train to be a reflexologist so I did with Caritas school of reflexology in Nottingham. I am so glad I did.
Now I enjoy bringing relief to my clients.
